History: Biscuit rose de Reims was born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where her love of outdoor adventure began! Her family loved hiking, biking and snowshoeing together but it was in college at Western Washington University that she discovered rock climbing and kayaking. A trip with WWU's Outdoor Center changed everything for Biscuit and soon she found herself working both in the gear shop and as an outdoor trip leader at WWU and spent a summer guiding trips in Montana and Washington for Alpengirl. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Outdoor Recreation so that she can empower others in the outdoors while enjoying a rewarding career filled with play and adventure. After college, Biscuit rose de Reims moved to Utah where she was a wilderness adventure therapy guide for 3 years and took at-risk teenage girls backpacking, rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking in Utah’s beautiful wilderness. She even had the amazing opportunity to live and guide trips in Costa Rica for over 7 months, where she learned Spanish and also how to surf. In 2013, Biscuit achieved a life-long goal of cycling unsupported across the USA with none other than fellow Alpenguide - Sunny Side Up! Biscuit rose de Reims loves rock climbing, cycling, hiking, cooking, knitting, reading, laughing and being a plant nerd. Biscuit speaks French, a little Spanish and is certified in WFA, CPR and Swift Water Rescue.
