History: Jigsaw grew up St. Louis, Missouri, far away from the mountains. She was an avid athlete and spent most weekends on the soccer field or tennis court. At the age of 14, she had the opportunity to go on an outdoor adventure trip that changed her life. She still remembers that first night sleeping under the stars and has been hooked on nature ever since! Jigsaw attended college at Ithaca College in upstate New York, where she studied Documentary Production. She coached a Girls on the Run team to empower young girls and taught primitive outdoor skills at various after-school programs. As a sophomore in college, she lived in Tanzania for four months, studying giraffes, learning about Tanzanian culture and practicing Swahili. After a month-long backpacking course with the National Outdoor Leadership School, Jigsaw knew she wanted to pursue a career in the outdoors. After graduation, it all came full circle as she worked as an outdoor educator and trip leader, leading teen adventure trips in the US and Canada. The rest of the year she lived and worked various jobs in Big Sky, Montana, playing in our beautiful backyard as much as possible. Jigsaw is excited to work with all-girl groups this summer and build a community of strong young females! Jigsaw is Leave No Trace, Wilderness First Responder and CPR Certified.

Current Base & Operations: Bozeman, MT. Jigsaw is currently working in the youth program at a private ski resort as well as preparing healthy, delicious food at the Bozeman Food Co-op and has recently started workign in the Alpengirl Camp office. In her free time, Jigsaw enjoys working on up-cycled craft projects, taking photos, reading, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, and planning the next outdoor adventure with friends!
