Known Superhuman Powers: Space Station uses her superhuman powers to create a delightful space habitat for girls (and all other folks) to be the best version of themselves. She uses her keen listening skills and empathic abilities to meet folks where they are at, and give them a healthy and fun environment to express themselves. She also loves learning about stars and constellations and is beyond excited to share this knowledge with campers this summer! 

Abilities: Space Station is capable of supporting alpengirl crews for long periods of time while remaining calm, collected and open when adversity strikes. She believes in the power of a team and uses encouragement and authenticity to connect to others. She believes everyone has a space in this world, and she is ready to nurture, challenge and teach with Alpengirl this summer. 

History: Growing up in the panhandle of Northern Idaho, Space was rocketed into a life of scrambling up mountains and exploring the lakes of the inland northwest. Raised by two outdoor enthusiasts themselves, she spent her childhood on a pair of skis, on a bike or on her own two feet. She went to University of Montana for her first two years of college where she always had her dancing shoes on and explored the Bitterroot Mountains nearly every weekend. She transferred to Montana State where she pursued a degree in Psychology and a minor in adventuring. She travelled to Dillon, Colorado to work at a non-profit where she fell in love with outdoor education and working with other people. She moved to Whidbey Island after graduating and is trying to find the perfect space to grow into. Space Station is W-EMT and CPR Certified. 

Current Base & Operations: Whidbey Island, WA. Space Station is currently spending her time working at the quaintest bookstore on the coast, where she is always talking about books to other bibliophiles. In her off time, you can find her adventuring on the many state parks on Whidbey Island, skiing Mt. Baker or jumping on the ferry to explore the Olympic Peninsula! Space Station is ready to have a blast this summer with all of the alpengirls and launch the adventures into low orbit this summer with you!
