That’s a wrap on summer 2021 here at Alpengirl! We had such an incredible summer with 16 different adventures and just over 150 campers who joined us to adventure throughout Montana, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
Taking on the challenges of planning and running the logistics of multiple 7-14 day trips at the same time in a short summer season is no easy feat and we are very thankful for all the stellar Alpenguides we had this season for making this summer magical for so many campers - their hard work and dedication to the kids is what makes the dream work here! We are also lucky to partner with an outstanding array of outfitters who made rafting, horse packing, canoeing, climbing, and kayaking possible for the Alpengirls - we thank them as well and are thrilled to work with them again in the future!
After a year filled with staying inside and uncertainty our goal was to just make sure camp happened and young girls had a place to express themselves and connect with others in the outdoors. Nothing heals quite like nature and nothing is better than a roadside dance party after a year of online school. We hope all the campers enjoyed their time in nature and made some lasting friends and memories in the process.
We are working hard at the office to clean the sand out of the tents and begin prep for next summer. Photos from all the trips have been sorted and are now available, they are a great sneak peak of what life is like as an Alpengirl. Those who haven’t already ordered photos can email the Alpengirl office at info@alpengirlcamp.com to purchase photos from their campers session - 100+ snapshot photos taking by the Alpenguides during camp are $45 and proceeds support future camper scholarships!
We are thankful for everyone that attended camp this summer and for the amazing effort from all of our camp parents, staff and outfitters as well. We wish everyone an amazing school year and we hope to see you next summer for more adventures!
