About Dinner at Alpengirl Camp

Dinners at Alpengirl Camp are served with salad or vegetables and small amounts of starch - bread, rice, potato or pasta. Four different kinds of meat are offered during a camp session: pork, chicken, fish or beef. Vegetarian meals are always an option for those campers who indicate this on their camp forms. Additionally, at least one meal each day is automatically vegetarian for all campers. Campers in the cook group will follow recipes and cook dinner on camp stoves with the supervision and assistance of an Alpenguide. The camper acting as Leader of the Day (LOD) will introduce and serve dinner.
