The group have ziplined their way into the final few days of camp, and what an incredible adventure it has been!
The hut-to-hut backpacking trek through the Slovenian Alps was an unforgettable experience. Alpenguides Jess and Lizzy were so impressed by every single girl’s grit, strength, and positive attitude as they tackled steep climbs, conquered mountain passes, and crushed mile after mile on the trail. Along the way, they spent their nights in three cozy mountain huts nestled beneath some of Slovenia’s tallest peaks, including the iconic Mount Triglav!
After long days of hiking, the group enjoyed delicious home-cooked traditional Slovenian meals, laughed over endless card games, and shared stories from the day’s adventures. Watching the girls encourage one another and celebrate each accomplishment made the journey even more rewarding.
As they soak up their final days together, they are slowing things down with fun-filled mornings and cooling off each afternoon by swimming in the crystal-clear river, a perfect way to beat the summer heat! The group is making the most of their last moments together; playing cards and enjoying all that Slovenia has to offer.
