Grateful Thinking - and especially expression of it to others- is associated with increased levels of energy, optimism, and empathy.
There are so many things that I am grateful for at Alpengirl Camp. I am grateful to the horse named Fetsus that is a camper favorite for so many years - I am grateful for his gentle patience when 4 campers want to hop on for a fun photo opportunity! I am grateful for the Alpenguides who become friends at camp too and grateful that they go above and beyond the call of duty day after day at camp caring for girls with compassion, humor and strength in leadership. I am grateful for wild and scenc rivers that we are able to raft with white sand beaches that call out for girls to do spontaneous cartwheels! I am grateful for blue bird summer days when the clear and calm rivers we canoe slow down our lives so that we can sit back and just soak in the great oudoors. I am grateful for the groups of girls who become like sisters at camp and share memories for a lifetime and allow us to be a part in their lives.
