Our Yellowstone Horse Mini crew has had an incredible start to camp, and excitement is building as we prepare to head into the Centennial Mountains for our horsepacking adventure! Over the past few days, the girls have been sharpening their camping skills, building confidence, and getting ready for the next chapter of our journey.
Scarlett, Lola P., and Merlin have become tent setup pros, eagerly helping campers who are new to camping feel right at home. Abby and CC have done an amazing job embracing and practicing Leave No Trace principles, while Skylar and Lola S. put their observation skills to the test by winning our nature scavenger hunt.
Savannah and Hannah have been the heart of the group, helping bring everyone together with their positivity, and our very first Leader of the Day, Gigi, has set the tone by leading with kindness and encouragement.

To cool off from the summer heat, we’ve spent time floating and swimming in the refreshing Madison River! We’ve also enjoyed plenty of delicious meals, including French toast breakfasts and hearty burritos, while our Alpenguides have somehow managed to eat an impressive number of Fruit Roll-Ups along the way.
With strong friendships already forming and plenty of new outdoor skills under our belts, we’re more than ready to meet our horses and begin our horsepacking adventure. We can’t wait to see what the rest of camp has in store!
