Who are Alpengirl’s Mother-Daughter Adventures meant for?
These one-of-a-kind adventures are for moms who have been eager to experience Alpengirl firsthand, campers who aren’t quite ready to embark on a trip on their own, and any mother-daughter duo excited to explore the outdoors together. Along the way, you’ll share plenty of laughs, try new activities side by side, and make memories that will last a lifetime.
With guidance from our experienced Alpenguides, you’ll learn new skills, build confidence, and grow together in a supportive small-group setting, all while discovering the joy of exploring the outdoors.
Mother-Daughter Trip Age Groups
To create a close-knit group experience while giving campers the chance to learn and grow alongside girls in a similar stage of life, we offer two age groups for our Mother-Daughter trips:
Classic: Rising 5th–9th graders and adult (6 days)
Extended: Rising 8th–11th graders and adult (7 days)
If your daughter falls somewhere in the middle, let’s chat! We’re happy to help you find the best fit for your family.
A note about tuition: Mother-Daughter trip tuition covers one mother-daughter pair (two people). Hoping to bring multiple children or adults? Reach out to discuss a custom payment arrangement!

Our Mother-Daughter Trips grew from a simple idea: offer teens the same dynamic Alpengirl experience, but add something extra — the chance to connect with their moms. Time spent together in nature creates lasting memories, strengthens bonds, and sparks growth for both generations.
These trips aren’t just about adventure. They’re about connection, laughter, and discovering new sides of each other. Because some of life’s most meaningful lessons happen on the trail, we created a space where mothers and daughters can explore, play, and grow — together.
