Known Superhuman Powers:
Boundless energy and creativity, a knack for finding humor in any situation, the capability to trip over any root on the trail, and the ability to take a nap on a horse. I also have the uncanny ability to connect any conversation to the perfect song lyric or movie quote.
Abilities:
I love finding challenges in the outdoors, whether it’s a kayak race, tree climbing, or identifying flora and fauna. I prioritize creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels heard, supported, and free to be their authentic self. I bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm to the world, along with a steady presence in both everyday activities and higher-pressure situations. I remain calm and focused in emergencies, helping ensure safety and clear decision-making when it matters most.
History:
I will be graduating this December from the University of Kentucky, with a degree in Natural Resources and Photography! My love for the outdoors began with 12 years with the Girl Scouts, and has only grown. I speak four languages and have had the chance to study abroad three times, as well as a summer spent solo backpacking across Europe! I have spent most of the last four years as a preschool teacher at Montessori and Waldorf schools.
Current Base & Operations:
I am currently a student in Lexington, KY, and plan on pursuing my Master’s in Emergency Management and Natural Disaster Mitigation after graduation. I serve as a volunteer with the local fire department, and travel every chance I get. Always open to new adventures, you can usually find me in the field doing surveys, or at the rodeo – yee haw!
