Endless trail stamina and the ability to rally a group for “just one more mile,” even at the end of a long day. Brings steady, positive energy to the trail—whether it’s a tough climb, unexpected weather, or a slow morning start. Thrives in Type 2 fun and is happiest a little dirty, a little tired, and rocking a Teva tan.
Abilities:
Confident mover on trail and rock, with a love for small climbing holds and technical terrain. Skilled in camp life—campfire cooking, efficient pack setups, and making a solid cup of instant coffee taste like a luxury. Strong sense of group pace and morale, knowing when to push forward and when to stop, snack, and take in the view. Also highly proficient in travel logistics and making things work, even when they probably shouldn’t.
History:
Born and raised in the Bay Area, with childhood camping trips in the Sierra Nevada and weekends on the California coast. Studied at UC Davis and went on to work in biotech and climate-tech startups. Always drawn back to the mountains, long trails, and the kind of days that end around a campfire.
Current Base & Operations:
Currently based in Boston, finishing an MS in Chemical Engineering and MBA at MIT. Planning to work in renewable energy, helping build clean, reliable energy systems. Outside of work: hiking, trail running, cycling, SCUBA diving, and traveling (29 countries and counting). Often found in wool socks, always ready to pack a bag and head outside.
