Known Superhuman Powers:

Taking inspiration from Mermaids, Tide Pool is exceptional at making up songs on the spot that (hopefully) inspire all. She holds more riddles than a person should, and has gained a special talent for making up drama-filled fire-side stories. She has learned to go with the flow of the waves, encouraging others to live in the beauty of the moment no matter what the tide brings in.

Abilities:

Tide Pool loves making up trail games and inspiring campers to stay positive no matter the weather. She loves teaching and learning about natural history in any area, especially mountain folklore. She also has learned the art of listening and is willing to lend an ear to anyone who needs it!

History:

Kat grew up in Southern Maine, spending most of her time either exploring the wood or finding critters in the Atlantic Ocean. Inspired by her loving grandma, she pursued Education in college and soon found outdoor education as a career option she was passionate about. This career opened doors to more serious outdoor occupations and helped solidify a love of backpacking, kayaking, and exploration. Tide Pool dreams of making outdoor recreation open to anyone who is willing to respect the outdoors, regardless of money or status.

Current Base & Operations:

Tide Pool spends most of the year back in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, where she helps to run an environmental education program. She spends her winters helping at a ski school in California, and backpacks as much as possible in the summertime.
